How do I know which ticket option is right for me?
1. Review the ticket options on Disneyland’s site here. The more days you select, the cheaper each day will be. Prices vary daily at Disneyland and are subject to change so keep checking back with their site to stay up to date on the latest prices.
2. Select when you’re going. As you can see on the calendar below, Disneyland offers 3 different types of tickets (from cheapest to most expensive as follows): Value, Regular and Peak. The cheaper days, such as Value dates, are more apt to have fewer crowds while the Peak tickets cost more and are typically busier days for the parks.

For admission, each member of your travel party (ages 3 and older) must have a valid 3-day or longer Disneyland Resort theme park ticket purchased online. General Tips and Tricks for Navigating Disney like a Pro
- Arrive 30 minutes early to park opening
- Visit the busiest rides in the first 2 hours of opening or the last 2 hours of closing
- If you want to see two parks, consider buying a Hopper pass
- Make a plan of the rides you want to go on ahead of time
- Consider packing a picnic for lunch to save on expenses
- Do your shopping at the end of the day. The shops are open for an hour after the parks close so focus on the rides while they’re available to you and then shop as the crowds dissipate into the evening.
- Be wary of any third party organizations that sell tickets as they often hide extra fees and taxes until check out. With the Employee Network the price you see is the price you pay.
- Do NOT rent tickets to Disneyland off sites like eBay or Craigslist. You don’t want to arrive to the parks just to be turned away for counterfeit tickets.
- Utilize Fast Passes
- When your trip calls for some “adult-time”, check out this magical bar crawl through Disneyland
- The easiest place to see the Firework show is at It’s a Small World. It’s less crowded than Main Street although Main Street still has the best view.
- City Hall can provide recipes for any meals that you particularly enjoyed
- For those youngsters who want to channel their inner princess, try buying your princess gear beforehand. Dresses can cost upwards of $60.00 at the park and you can find tons of options for around $20.00 here.
- Ride as a single rider to cut long wait times
- Get a “celebration” button at City Hall to celebrate things like birthdays, anniversaries, your first trip etc. They are free and often lead to other freebies from characters around the park!
- Save money by booking your hotel with The Employee Network Discount here!
